MARVA ANGELA WALKER-STEWART

She now joins her husband Hildago Stewart; father Frank Brown; grandfather Hubert Reid; grandmother Christina Douglas-Reid; uncle Carlton; aunts Pearlina, Daphne, Audrey and Eula. She is survived by, and will be mourned by many especially her three children Jermaine Johnson, Garfield Walker, and Maurice Walker; one grandchild Kiahna Walker; mother Esmie Reid; siblings Michael Holness, Leonard Brown, Audley Brown, Sharon-Ann Brown, Kayan Brown, Audrey Dawn Francis and Devon Brown; Uncle Winston; nieces Charlene, Camille, Lydia, Shanise and Semira; nephews Kris, Michael, Dalton, Nicholas, Theo, Jahmarley, Jayden, Aubrey, and Jason; cousins Yvonne, Laurel, Marlene, Simone, Marvin, Donovan, Stanja, Selena, Debbie-Ann, Natasha, and Carlton; many second cousins and in-laws Hopelyn, Steve, Yancy, Nicole, Danell, Jasmine, Kara, Jaclyn and Nicole and a host of friends, colleagues and very close family friends. Marva spent her early years in Kingston, Jamaica where she was an inspired contemporary/creative dancer, then onto to a very successful nursing career both in Jamaica and Canada. She migrated to Canada in 1988 continuing to touch the lives of many she met, caring for her patients as well as the many members of the communities of which she was heavily involved. (Teeny) as she was known by to close family and friends, was one of the most tireless workers up until her passing. She was always there to help and give her many blessings to all, as she would put others before her. She had a joy for cooking (as this was one of the many things she excelled in), once you had a taste you would always come back for more. The world will miss her amazing and infectious SMILE, but heaven will now get a chance to shine a little brighter for it. Funeral Service will be held at Shiloh Assembly Church, 1600 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Public Visitation will be held at the Church on Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in the family’s name to Shiloh Assembly Church 1600 Broadway Ave, Regina SK where some of the proceeds will be made to a charity of their choice.
