Obituary of Mary Lilian Marean

MAY 16, 1920 – FEBRUARY 23, 2016 With family at her side, Mary passed away peacefully on February 23, 2016 at the age of 95 years. She had written her memoirs and entitled them, I’ve Lived a Good Life. Mary will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter Margaret (David), granddaughter Courtney (Jordan) and great-granddaughter Lyra of Edmonton and granddaughter Kaela (Neil) of Winnipeg; her daughter Katherine (Murray) Carswell of Regina; her son Fred (Jane); granddaughters, Megan Davies O’Leary and Diana and grandsons Zachery and Dakota of Estlin; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her husband Clyde (1998) and her six siblings. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Monday February 29, at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. The family gratefully declines flowers and asks those who wish to make memorial donations to consider the World Wildlife Fund or The War Amps.
