Obituary of Darlene Leeanne Doyle

DARLENE DOYLE née KOBSAR November 8, 1954 – February 24, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darlene Doyle. After a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, she gently passed surrounded by family at the Regina Pasqua Hospital. She leaves behind by her husband Tyrone; daughters, Chantall (son Carlin and daughter Tyler) and Michelle (Carl and children, Aaron, Emma, Evan), Janelle (Jeff and daughter Lexy; great-grandchildren, Ashara and Kezlyn; as well as her mother Virginia; aunts, Helen Brooks, Ann Kreklewich, Eleanor Lamere; uncles, Joseph (Shirley) Kobsar and Arnold (Lee) Kobsar; sisters, Lorna (Darryl), Cheryl (Dwight), Debbie (Gord), brother Rodney (Carole); sisters-in-law, Rosita (Bryan) and Sonja (Jack); her nieces and nephews, Shauna (Bryce), Devin (Yiyang), Chad, Lee, Deryk (Lori), Tara (Davan), Joshua, Bethany, Daniel (Marie), Hannah, Jen, Andrea, Jessica, Emily, Sophia; as well as numerous cousins, great-nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Wanda Upshall. Darlene is predeceased by her father Aloyious Kobsar; grandparents, Matthius and Caroline Kobsar and Peter and Stella Kirklevich. She was often thought of as everyone’s mother. She had an amazing smile and spirit that touched the lives of everyone she crossed paths with. Her smiling and happy personality was infectious and it was hard to beat her at trivia, a game of crib, or bingo as, "she invented them". A Visitation will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life will be at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with a Private Interment to follow. The family wishes to thank the staff on Units 3B and 2C at the Regina Pasqua Hospital for the fantastic care she received.
