Mr. Kuntz was my next door neighbor for over 20 years when I grew up on 3rd Avenue. I have many vivid memories of this great man. I recall breaking his basement window a couple times while playing basketball in my driveway, I remember him always petting my dog through the fence and chatting with my father in the back lane or over the fence. He gave me my first job as a 15 year old teenager working at the CNIB Canteen at the Pasqua Hospital and I am forever grateful as I purchased my first car with that money. Years later when my father passed away he is one of the few people that stood out for me at my father's funeral. The last time I saw Mr. Kuntz was about 7 or 8 years ago. I was in Regina on business and I drove past my childhood home down the back alley. I saw him working in his garden and I got out of the car. It was a really nice visit and another fond memory. My sincere condolences on the loss of this admirable man.
