Obituary of Paula Lynn Grolle

Paula Lynn Grolle, late of Regina SK, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2016 at the age of 61 years. Predeceased by her father Elwood “Ed” Sjostrand and her mother Etna Florence Brown (nee: Wilson). Paula is survived by her spouse Frank; her son Alex of Regina; step mother Suzanne Sjostrand of Victoria; numerous aunts; uncles as well as her cousins all of whom were like siblings to her. Paula had many passions that included gardening, her pets and a constant desire to seek warmer climates, in particular Barbados. She was also a proud alumnus of her high school, Campbell Collegiate where she assisted in organizing several reunions over the years. The opportunity to socialize with friends, which included relatives, co-workers and former classmates, always brought her a great deal of joy. Many of these friends were met while attending Grant Road, Elsie Dorsey and Massey elementary schools, and would form many lifelong relationships. Paula will also be remembered for her love of Classic Rock and Roll Music especially the sounds of Elvis Presley and the Beatles. Frank and Alex would like to extend their very sincere appreciation to all the Regina Health Care Practitioners who have demonstrated such compassion in caring for Paula these past months. Funeral Service will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Limerick, SK on Sunday April 17, 2016 where Paula will rest alongside her mother.
