Obituary of Sister Margaret Theresa Marie Ryan

SISTERS OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD Sister Margaret Ryan June 5, 1925 - March 16, 2016 It is with sadness we announce the death of Sister Margaret. Though not well due to medical issues her death was, none-the-less, unexpected. Sister was predeceased by her parents, Marie and Michael; siblings Tom, Mary, Elizabeth and Michael. She is survived with many loving and caring nieces and nephews. Prior to entering the Sisters of the Precious Blood she attended Brescia College in London, ON; spent a year in France studying and taught for several years. Sister entered the Monastery on August 15, 1953, and made her Profession of Vows September 8, 1956. She held many offices but her especial love as to be the Community librarian. Her years in Regina encompassed 1986 - 1992 and 2001 - 2016. Prayer Vigil will be held at Precious Blood Monastery, 2210 – 25th Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s R.C. Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Meehan, S.J., Celebrant. Flowers most gratefully declined. Friends so wishing may make a donation, in memory of Sister Margaret, to a charity of one’s choice.
