Obituary of Karen Lorraine Stout-Smith

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen on Friday March 18, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Geraldine and Dennis Stout. Karen is survived by her husband Lyall; her children Kenny (Melissa) Smith of Edmonton AB, Rebecca (Trent) Oppeboen of Regina, Delila (Garret) Halbgewachs of Regina, Brad (Jacky) Stout of Regina and Karla Stout of Regina; Karen was a proud Nana (Grandma) of grandchildren Triston, Destinee, Lexi, Jaden, Kayten, Austin, Garred and Erynn; sister Laurie; brothers John and David as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. A private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers, family and friends so wishing may make a memorial donation in Karen’s name to the Palliative Care Unit 3A Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave. Regina, Saskatchewan S4T 1A5.
