Obituary of Stanley Joseph Frohlick

STANLEY JOSEPH FROHLICK OCTOBER 2, 1925 – MARCH 21, 2016 Stan passed away on Monday March 21, 2016. He was born on October 2, 1925 to Gabriel and Theresa Frohlick in Holdfast, SK. Stan was predeceased by wife Helen in 1990; great-granddaughter Baby Hope Benson in 2012; brothers, John, Joe, Gabriel, Mike, Jack and Al; sisters, Margaret, Mary, Anne, Kay and Barbara; sisters-in-law, Rose, Ida, Marie, Francis, Mary and Emelia; brothers-in-law, Con, Dennis, Mervyn, George, Steve, Mike and Jim. He is survived by his loving partner of the past twenty-four years, Mary; daughters Colleen (Dale Davidson), Wendy (Eric Rogowski) and Lori (Chris VanCuren); sons Calvin (Bernice Schoenroth) and Rick (Gail Dilschneider); grandchildren, Shawn (Krista), Sharla (Gaetan), Sharisse (Riley), Krystle, Allison (Richard), Jamie (Joey), Tyler, Chantelle (Danny), Taryn (Cody) and Tyneal (Keeran); great-grandchildren, Sonja, Kendall, Eric and Quinn Davidson, Isabella, Julianne, Marissa and Damien Girardin, Deklen, Austin and Celina Pritchard, Daylon Frohlick, Ayden Perry and Nolan Benson; brother Tony; sisters Theresa Miller and Madeline Karr; brother-in-law Con Folk and sisters-in-law Theresa Frohlick, Rita Folk and Betty Folk. Stan was a long time grain farmer on the family homestead in the Holdfast area. He was thrilled when his youngest son Rick decided to take over the farm in 1994. The Century Family Farm Award he received in 2004 was a major highlight in his life. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday March 27, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Holdfast, SK, on Monday March 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Holdfast Cemetery.
