Obituary of James Paul Robinson

Jimmy passed away suddenly on March 23rd, 2016 at the age of 20. Left to cherish the memories of Jimmy are his parents, Ken and Holly Robinson, his two sisters, Danielle and Theresa, along with his grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, good friends and partners in crime. To say Jimmy was a hard-working farmer doesn’t scratch the surface; he could farm-fix anything and everything! Jimmy knew all the ins and outs of operating the farm and in the last year, literally became his dad’s “left-hand” man. Jimmy took great pride in being the fourth generation working on the Robinson family farm. Jimmy grew into a fine young man who was respectful, thoughtful, outgoing, and an extraordinary outdoor enthusiast. Jimmy had great friends with whom he enjoyed life and adventures, especially his buddy Ben. Year-round, Jimmy found fun sledding, quading, motor biking, hunting and fishing off the dock at Pops. Whatever was cooking, Jimmy’s mischievous nature found him right smack in the middle of it. Not a day went by that Jimmy didn’t live life to the fullest; "hold it to the bar N ranch on.” Being an Ash/Robinson, deep family values came naturally to Jimmy. As the oldest child, he was able to share special first-time memories with his parents. Once his sisters came along, Jimmy quickly jumped into the role of being a big brother. It was evident that family life was Jimmy’s foundation and that is what allowed him to grow into the wonderful young man he was. The family invites you to come celebrate his life the way you spent it with him, in true Jimmy-style, casual dress. Memorial Service will take place Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the K&S Community Hall in Bethune, SK at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service Foundation (STARS foundation), 2640 Airport Road, Regina, Saskatchewan, S4W 1A3. Like the tire-marks his truck left behind, Jimmy too left a mark on all the hearts of the people who knew him. Jimmy was a young man who was always there for his friends and family. He was the first to step up when needed, supported others when they needed it, and brought laughter and love everywhere he went. This young man packed a lot of living into 20 short years. James is going to be missed and life is just not going to be the same without him.
