Obituary of George William Graham

George was born on the family farm north of Heward SK. He attended Stoughton elementary and junior high. He tried his hand at a few different employment opportunities such as farmer, cement works and construction, and "cat" driver before moving to Regina and working at IPSCO in 1968. George worked at IPSCO for 29 years until he retired in 1997. George passed away suddenly on March 21, 2016 in Regina. He is survived by his three children and one step child. Son, Lorne (Shawna) Graham and his three children: Michael, Chris, and Felicia (Leonard) Walker and her five children (Anthony, Kaylee, Raelyn, Alex, and Jacob). Daughter, Michel (Marshall) Graham and her three children: Brandon, Ellena and Keaton. Daughter, Marlo Graham. And step daughter Roberta Graham and her two children LaToya and Layton. George is also survived by his sisters: Isabella Hemphill, Margaret (Gordon) Robinson, Mae Corcoran, Carol (Vern) Lindsey, and Violet (Marcel) Stocker and his brothers: Bob (Betty) Graham and Don (Charlene) Graham and sister-in-law: Lauranne Graham and brother-in-law Arthur Mowles as well as many nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his parents George (in 1971) and Stella (nee Gerry in 1990) and his brothers: Garfield, Laurence, Jackie and Hugh Graham and his sisters: Jenny Smallwood, and Myrtle Mowles and brother-in-laws: Edwin Fraser, David Hemphill, Ron Burnie and Tom Corcoran and sister-in-laws: Allene Graham and Carol Graham. George was a quiet man. He enjoyed going for walks and taking in the fresh air. He always looked forward to seeing his great grandchildren. Dad, we will miss you.
