Obituary of Douglas George Severt

1932-2016 Doug passed away peacefully on March 28, 2016 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by his wife Phyllis in 2009; brother Jan; sister Vi Derkson and parents Henry and Caroline. Doug is survived by his loving daughter Debbie (Robert); grandson Ryan (Amanda) and their children Hailey and Callie, grandson Brandon and sister-in-law Martha. Doug was formally an employee of the City Of Regina. Dad loved many things, playing cards, shooting pool and socializing, but his greatest love was that of family. His daughter Debbie loving known to dad as “Fat Head”, his grandsons and great-granddaughters were the true sparkles in his eyes. He will be missed and forever loved. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday April 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers those so wishing may make memorial donations in Doug’s name to the Kidney Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1-2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 9Z9.
