Obituary of Helen Ruth Shier

HELEN RUTH SHIER Helen, late of Regina, SK, formerly of Semans, SK passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Regina General Hospital on March 27, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Helen was predeceased by her husband Clifford in 1961; her parents, John and Mildred Martin; a son-in-law, Bill Noy; grandchild, Tiffany James and great-great-grandchild Kreestyn Bear; four sisters: Josephine, Ella, Dorothy and Beth, and brother Jim. Helen is survived by six children: Wallace (Sharon) Shier of Yorkton SK, Vivian Noy of Okotoks AB, Marvis Seel of Lipton SK, Eleanor Fink of Regina SK, James (Dolores) Shier of Regina SK, and Brian (Bernice) Shier of Regina SK; sixteen grandchildren: Shannon and Justin Shier, Darryl Noy, Beverly Bureau, Janet Verge, Shelley Herr, Michelle Konjolka, David Fink, Sonya Fink, Derwood (Woody) Fink, Sandy Staigh, Kurt Chartier, Craig Chartier, Terri-Lyn James and Ethan James; twenty-five great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren; three siblings: Dave, Betty and Edith; plus many friends and neighbours. Service of Remembrance will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.
