Obituary of Vincent Jackson Cole

March 11, 1928 - March 31, 2016 Dad is at peace. He has deeply missed his wife Peggy since her passing in 2011. They were a special couple who shared sixty years of love and happiness that was enriched by family and friends. Dad especially enjoyed the strong bonds he formed with Peggy's parents, her siblings and their families. Vic is survived by his son Bob (Jody) Cole, his daughter Betty Lou (Scott) Whitley, his grandchildren Robbie (Kristen) and great-granddaughter Cole Anderson, Alexander Martin-Cole, Mackenzie Cole, David, Jim and Laura Whitley. Vic was born in Markinch and enjoyed living in Regina and Pasqua Lake. He also enjoyed many winters in Arizona. He started working at SaskTel at a young age and held many different positions there until his retirement in 1983. Following that he often took seasonal work as he always was a man who needed to be busy! Vic had a strong work ethic which always made his family proud. Vic was a generous man who always was willing to help others. The family would like to thank the staff at Echo Lodge, Fort Qu'Appelle. Our father received wonderful care . We could not have wished for more! Dad's life will be honoured at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Donations in Vic's memory may be made to the Regina Humane Society, PO Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7 or Echo Lodge Auxiliary, 560 Broadway Street West , Fort Qu’Appelle, SK S0G 1S0.
