Obituary of Evelyn May Jenkins

May 22, 1934 - April 13, 2016 Evelyn passed away peacefully at the age of 81, with her family at her side. She is predeceased by her husband Morgan (2006); sister June (John) and brother-in-law David. Evelyn will be deeply missed by her sons Greg (Darlene) and Wayne (Renata); grandchildren Shawn (Melina), Mark (Sarah), Lindsay and Jared; great-grandchildren Ellianna, Amalie, Hannah and Annamae; sister-in-law Margaret (Max) Schaffer; brother-in-law Tom (Myrna) Jenkins, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She enjoyed working as a volunteer at William Booth, Zion United Church and with the Travelers Day Parade, also doing crafts with her friends. She also enjoyed going to church or meeting her friends for coffee at the mall. Over the years Evelyn worked as a hair dresser, part time at Sears and as a home maker. Evelyn especially cherished time with her grandchildren. We would like to give a special thanks to the Nurses and Doctors at the Pasqua Hospital ICU, for the great care they gave our Mom, in the short time she was there. Funeral Service will be held at St. James United Church, 4506 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Colfax, Sask.
