Obituary of Karen Jean Der

KAREN JEAN DER Karen, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at the age of 61 years. Predeceased by parents Laurel and Doreen Wright and sister Sharon. Karen is survived by her husband Jim; son Mitchell; sisters Brenda (Dusty, nephews Allan and Devin) Morrow, Rhona LaPierre and Patricia Wright; cousins Victor Applin, Michael (Penny) Applin, Ellen (Larry) Mack, Lois Applin, Ed (Maureen) Applin, Pete (Sheila) Applin and Doris (Kevin) Patterson; numerous other cousins, nephews and nieces; her Provincial Library co-workers and many cherished friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday May 6, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. Friends are invited to join the family for a service to honour and celebrate Karen’s life at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Family and friends so wishing may make donations in memoriam to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143 Stn.
