Obituary of Edwin 'Ed' Gottfried Schramm

EDWIN ‘ED’ GOTTFRIED SCHRAMM Ed passed away to be with his Lord in eternity on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the age of 88 years. He was born to Gottfried and Annie on January 8, 1928 on the family farm near Lemberg, SK, and was baptized and confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lemberg. Ed always had a strong faith, kindness and patience in his life, leaving everything in God’s hands. Predeceased by his parents, brothers John and Arthur, and sister Hattie Senft, Ed leaves many memories to be remembered by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Lillie; brothers, Ewald (Josephine) and Randolf (June); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Lil wishes to express sincere, heartfelt gratitude to the Management Staff and all Caregivers at the William Albert Care Home, Emerald Park, SK for all their great kindness of comfort, love and care given to Ed during his residency of 3 ½ years. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1909 Ottawa Street, Regina, SK on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
