Obituary of Lillybelle Anne Moir (Seibold)

Born September 3, 1925, Belle joined her husband Benjamin, and her son Allan, in heaven on May 13, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Auntie Belle, as she was known to many, left a lasting impression on those she encountered. Her community at Benson Manor enjoyed her humor and knowledge of current affairs. She took great pride in having read every issue of the Leader Post since February, 1947. Predeceased by all of her siblings, she was the youngest of Gottelieb and Theresa (Hilt) Seibold's nine children. She was raised in Kendal, worked in the war plants of Ontario and Saskatchewan and sold Avon for many years. Missing her are her many nieces and nephews across Canada. Especially feeling her loss are Marilyn Rink, Gloria and Gerry Kletzel and Joan and Thalia Rink, who had the pleasure of her care and friendship here in Regina. The recent visits of nieces Darlene Banta from Surrey, BC and Marjorie Bilous and husband Fred from Sandford, MB brought her great joy. Her love of family earned her the role of matriarch and she could be counted on to unite her large extended family. She was thrilled with the bouquets and phone calls from friends and family near and far during her time in hospice care. A Celebration of Belle's life will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Friday, May 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Belle was graced with exceptional palliative care by the staff at Wascana Grace Hospice over the past few weeks.
