Obituary of Marguerite Thelma Sneath

Marguerite T. Sneath, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully with family at her side, on May 16, 2016, at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by her husband, Ross Sneath and her son, George Sneath, Marguerite is survived by daughters, Shirley Park, Heidi Martin (Larry), Susan Sneath (Michel), Catherine Sneath (Jack); son Isaac Sneath (Kathryn); grandchildren, Heidi Smith (Marcus), David Mark (Saphyre), Robert Martin (Joyanna), Carla Seguin (Ryan), Brian Martin (Megan), Matthew Silvester, Molly Book (Scott), Meghan Dorsch (Chadon) and Alison Deis (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Kachina, Julian, Kyra, Lydia, Liam, Ella, Heidi, Paige, Fiona, London, Lilly, Janaya, Riley, Brinley and Taylor. Besides her family, Marguerite was passionate about dogs and horses. She encouraged her children and grandchildren to learn how to ride and share her passion. She won many awards for her riding, including an award at the age of 80 years for Reserve Champion in Dressage. She also volunteered with Pony Club and Regina Therapeutic Riding. She received many awards for her volunteer efforts and was especially proud of her most recent one in 2010: the President’s Award from the Saskatchewan Horse Federation for her lifetime contribution. Cremation has taken place. At Marguerite’s request, a celebration of life will take place at a later date for immediate family. Family and friends so wishing may make a donation, in memoriam, to a charity of their choice.
