Obituary of William Huxley Parker

William “Bill” Huxley Parker passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the age of 80 years, after a year-long valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Cherishing his memory is Marie (Mary Pelzer), his loving wife of 59 years; his children, Caroline (Kelly Knudsen) of Victoria, Dale (Janice) of Leduc, and Dianne (Lawrence Swann) of Regina; his seven grandchildren - Christina (Shawn Gryschuk), Juliana (Joel Sutherland), Jenna (Braden Norman), Tyson (Megan Dove), Jeffrey (Robin Howell), Steven, and Lisa; brother, Gary (Kathie) of Regina Beach; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also missing him, and the daily treats, is their beloved dog Tammy. Bill was predeceased by his parents William Oswald Huxley (Joe) Parker and Elizabeth (Betty) Parker (Crowther); and brother Donald in 2014. The Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Hillsdale Street, Regina on Tuesday, May 24 at 11:00 a.m. A lunch and gathering will be held afterwards and all are invited to join the family and share your stories and memories. A private interment will take place following the lunch and social.
