To Jerami's loved ones.
Jerami was a man of common sense. Who didn't put up with his buttons being pushed for the wrong reason. He was a black and white kinda guy, with very little room for grey in his life (except for his kids). And laugh.....very important to succeed in life and fights. That is what made him such a strong warrior through the cancer battle. His concern was always for Heidi and the kids. Never for himself. He lived for the moment that he could share with those who loved him.
Jer loved to banter about politics, sports and of course about those who seemed to lack common sense.
I can honestly say he was protecting me. I don't know how many times I asked Jer to go out for coffee, a drive.....and he always politely put me off. And I knew why, I wasn't offended or put off. But I knew my offers of change of scenery meant a lot.
RIP my friend you deserve a great seat in the house. Not the BEST seat. I envy all the jam sessions you are attending. I envy all the games you can cheer for. And you will always be there to watch over your kidlets and Heidi.
