Maureen Burwell 1942-2016 Maureen Elizabeth Burwell (nee Higgs) age 74 late of Regina, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, June 17, 2016.She was predeceased by her father; Jack Higgs, mother; Winnifred Krauss, son; Troy Brown, husband; Dennis Burwell and sister; Jacqueline Dawson.Maureen is survived by her daughter; Tracey Audet, grandsons; Joshua, Markus and Nathen Audet, son; James Brown, Jacqueline's children; Alana Fleming, Wendy Faith, Jorden Hockings and families and Dennis's daughters; Joanna, Barbara, Moneca, Eroca and their families.She will be deeply missed by her many extended family members in Canada and England and fondly remembered by friends and clients from her years at Teddys to Go!At Maureen's request there will be no service, cremation to follow, arrangements by Speers.in lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Humane Society in Regina, as her love for, and connection to, all the animals in her life was truly remarkable.
