Obituary of Thelma Gwendlyn Munro

Thelma, late of Regina, SK passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, June 20, 2016 at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband George; son-in-law Harry; sisters Francis and Muriel. Thelma is survived by her brother Bill (Rose); sister Pat (Don); brother Clarke (Lorraine); children Kenneth (Sally), Innis, and Lavina; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Thelma had several hobbies including canning, baking, leather carving and sewing but her real passion was her garden. She could spend hours at a time weeding, watering and pruning but it never seemed like work to her; it brought her great joy. Her home was always open to family and friends for a visit over tea or a game of cribbage and a homemade treat. We all have special memories of our mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend and we will cherish these memories in our hearts forever. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens.
