Dale and I send our deepest sympathy to each of you on the loss of your dear son and brother. We were very shocked to hear of Allen's passing. He was much too young. I will always remember (with gratitude) Allen coming to get me and show me how to get downtown on the bus for my doctor appointment when I was very pregnant with Jeff. He was ten years old! We had a banana split at Kresge's after the appointment and he got me safely home again. I also remember Allen as a boy with a kindness and gentleness in him. I know Mom was touched when he would thank her for a good meal. My memories are good. We are sad for your loss and we keep Allen and each of you in our prayers.
