Obituary of Andrew Alphonse Roesch

Al passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family on Sunday, July 17, 2016. He was predeceased by his son David Andrew; parents Franz and Theresa (Roth); siblings Louisa, Frank, Theresa, Henry, Charles and grandson Nicholas. Al is survived by his wife of 56 years Ursula, children Wilf (Cindy), John (Cecilia), Marian (Mike Buchanan), Susan (Jim Russell) as well as his sister Barbara Hoffart and 11 grandchildren. Al was born in Scott, Sask. and raised on the family farm. He graduated with his civil engineering degree from the U of Sask. in 1952. He worked for Sask Power from 1957 to 1983, then took early retirement and did consulting work. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church, 315 Douglas Ave E, Regina, SK on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9 or Chalice, 445 Sackville Dr. Lower Sackville, NS B4C 2S1.
