Obituary of Ronald Dwayne Gettle

RONALD DWAYNE GETTLE October 25, 1961 – August 15, 2016 It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Dwayne Gettle announce his peaceful passing on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the age of 54 years in Regina. Ronald was predeceased by his mother Leona Rosa Gettle, brother Blaine Gettle, sister Angela Gettle and the mother of his children Zita Zerr. He is survived by his father, Alfred Gettle; sons, Ronnie Jr.(Lindsey) and Dana; daughters, Leah, Lana and Lacee; brothers, Darwin and Jeffrey (Laurel); grandchildren, Paishence, Rolan, Loveah, Roselyn, Baby Urijah and Daeson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ronald was born and raised in Regina and is a proud band member of the Sakimay First Nation. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Ronald took pride in hard work and enjoyed working as a contractor in construction. He will always be remembered as the most caring, giving, kind and thoughtful person that went out of his way to ensure all his kids were happy. Ronald especially enjoyed shopping for his grandchildren and took many opportunities to provide for them during special occasions such as birthdays and Christmas holidays. Public Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
