Obituary of Hugh Houston

John Houston, late of Cupar and District Nursing Home, formerly of Tyvan, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 86. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Velma in 1985; parents Stewart and Florence Houston; brother Allan; and sisters and brothers-in-law. John is survived by his children and their spouses, Bill and Lynnette, granddaughter Katharyn, Joan and Larry, Caroline and John, grandson Alex and granddaughter Ashley; sisters, Janet Mark and Evelyn Sutherland; brother Clint (Ruth) Houston; sister-in-law Jean Houston; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of John’s Life will take place at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Tyvan Cemetery.
