Obituary of Valentine Friedrich Schmidt

Valentine Friedrich Schmidt, late of Earl Grey, SK, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the age of 92 years. He is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Philipine Schmidt; in-laws Louise and Caroline Ritter; daughter Betty Earnshaw; sisters Edith and Erna; and brother Henry. Valentine is survived by his loving wife Emma of 65 years; sons, Rudy (Sherry), Alvin, Marvin (Karen); son-in-law Pat; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Truman), Megan, Spencer (Erin), Baden, Eric (Carrie), Christopher and Emily; four great-grandchildren, Austin and Jillian, Emmet and Susie; brother Alfred; brother-in-law Arnold (Elaine) Ritter; and sister-in-law Helen (Richard) Maier; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Christ Lutheran Church, 322 Main Street, Earl Grey, SK on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
