Obituary of Marion Cecilia Brass

With great sadness we announce the passing of Marion Brass (nee Garvey) on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Pasqua Hospital, surrounded by love. Marion was born 1939 in a farm house at St. Andrews Scottish Settlement, south of Wapella. She is survived by husband Jim; daughter Dana Brass (Fred Nicolas); sons Jeff (Roxanne) and Howard; grandchildren Jaylene, Jordan (Kim), Amanda (Matt), Maxim, Ryan and Alexia; great-grandchildren Damian, Aurora and Grayson; sisters Nora Goldie and Eleanor (Frank) Bobbee; brother Bernie Garvey; sisters-in-law Muriel Garvey and Laura Garvey, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her parents Cecil Garvey and Marion Miskelly, stepfather Alec Miskelly, as well as sisters Katherine and Monica, brothers Donald and Teddy, foster brother Lawrence Gross. Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers mom would like donations to Carmichael Outreach, 1925 Osler Street, Regina, SK S4P 1W3.
