I remember Bob, Art Darlington and my Dad, Frank Pascoe, working together for so many years at SaskTel. They always seemed to be helping each other with weekend projects around their homes as well. When Tim and I bought our first house just 2 doors down MacKenzie from Bob, he made the neighbourhood feel like home.
The 3 guys carpooled and I was privileged one extremely cold morning to be given a ride to high school on their way to work. A rather sleepy Bob sat in the front passenger seat with me behind him. Along the way Bob discovered he'd got dressed that morning with 2 different coloured socks. As he made this discovery he colourfully described them. Then he remembered I was in the back seat and went beet red with embarrassment and swore again then got even redder. The other two killed themselves laughing at his socks as much as the predicament with his language. I still laugh, a favourite memory of those characters.
Treasure your own special memories of Bob and please accept my condolences.
