Obituary of Marion Helen Schuett

MARION HELEN SCHUETT (nee McArton) Marion, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband Cyril, brother Wilfred, sisters Frieda, Dorothy and Eleanor. Marion is survived by daughter Susan (Cameron) Graham of Regina, SK; son John (Delia) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Amanda (Chad) Glen, Robin, Megan and Shaina Schuett; great-grandchildren William and Breanna Glen, Alexis, Tatum, Kalib and Johnathon Schuett; sister-in-law Lillian McArton; numerous nieces and nephews. Marion, or Dick, as she was known to many, was born on the family farm near Dilke, SK on July 4, 1922. She moved to Regina, SK after completing school and met Cyril. The two were married on June 15, 1957 and were fortunate to spend many happy years together. Marion worked for periods at the Diocese of Qu’Appelle Synod office and also worked as a secretary in Ottawa during the Second World War. She spent many years as a homemaker looking after her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 2161 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK S4P 1G9 or the charity of your choice.
