Obituary of Patrick John Roach

April 24, 1939 - September 21, 2016 Pat passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at his bedside, on the morning of Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He will always be remembered as a great husband to his beloved wife Marilyn, father to five children, grandfather to ten grandchildren, and great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored and cherished. Pat could always be spotted at the hockey rink or baseball diamond, coaching children of all ages, but his first love was always his wife of 57 years, Marilyn. Pat will be missed by his wife, Marilyn; his children, Debi (Hugh) Balkwill of Regina, Barry (Shauna) of Calgary, Bryan (Shelley) of Moose Jaw, Bill (Sandra) of Regina, and Pat (Dawn) of Stettler; his sister Theresa (Bert) Blok; and brother Peter (Marg) Roach. Pat's family will be eternally grateful to Marilyn's sister, Marian Brunette, the Palliative Home Care and Pasqua 3A, who provided special care to our father. As per his wishes, the family will have a private celebration of Pat's life instead of a traditional funeral service.
