Obituary of Helen Elizabeth Maier

Helen, late of Earl Grey, SK, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her parents Louie and Caroline Ritter; in-laws and other family members. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Richard; children, Carol (Edmond) Flaman, Doug (Pat), and Shelley (Ron) Horvath; grandchildren, Dana (Steph), Crystal (Trent), Dustin (Sam), Tanisa (Katlin), Tristan, Amanda (Leigh), Ashley, and Trevor (Amber); great-grandchildren, Madison, Payten, and Mackenzie; brother Arnold (Elaine) Ritter; sister Emma Schmidt; and brother-in-law Eddie Huber; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. Funeral Service will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Southey, SK on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Lowell Dennis officiating. Interment will be held at North Southey Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Donations in memory of Helen, may be made to the North Southey Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Box 219, Southey, SK S0G 4P0.
