Obituary of Helen Louise Romanovich

Helen, late of Regina and formerly of Kisbey, SK, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her husband Bill on February 27, 1995; parents David and Louisa Betteridge of Kisbey; and sister Nancy (Lundy) of Saskatoon, Helen is survived by her two daughters, Alison (Gordon) McConnell and Susan (Bruce) Saunders; her brother David Betteridge; special friend Grace (Tony) Giambattista; grandchildren Michael (Kim) Saunders, Evan Saunders, Sharmin (Jaret) Homenuk, Danielle (David) Reed, Aaron (Kim) McConnell; great-grandchildren Hallie (Dylan), Victoria, Gregory, Geoffrey, Alexandra, William, and Liam; and one great-great-grandchild Jack. Helen received her schooling at Kisbey, SK then took her nurses training at the Regina Grey Nuns Hospital. She continued in her chosen career for many years. Helen and Bill were married in 1952 and continued to reside in Regina and raise their family. At Helen’s request cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers most gratefully declined.
