Obituary of Catherine Gelsinger

CATHERINE GELSINGER (nee Deck) Catherine, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the age of 96 years. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Gelsinger; parents, Aloysius and Leogodia Deck; daughter Patricia Jefferies; son Jean Paul Claude; son-in-law Dennis McInnes; grandson Kelly McInnes; numerous brothers and sisters, including Theresa, Al, Adam, and Joe Deck. Catherine leaves to mourn her children, Theresa McInnes, Bernadette Zinkhan (Darrell Renus), Michael (Gail) Gelsinger, and Erick Gelsinger; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Beth (Andy) Ortman and Eve McCreesh; brother John (Gerry) Deck; and sister-in-law Irene Deck. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Cross Parish, 315 Douglas Avenue East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with lunch to follow. Interment will be held at Riverside Memorial Park. Catherine’s family would like to thank William Booth Special Care Home and Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home for the special care Catherine had received over the last few years.
