I was a best friend to Nicole while we were living in Vancouver. I was away when she had her breakdown and when I got back to Vancouver she was gone to Regina. We climbed lots together and did a road trip to Oregon. We lost touch when I went travelling g and moved to do my PhD in Australia. I'd love to learn about her life after Vancouver and how she died. Deepest condolences for the passing of a beautiful, talented, sensitive but strong, wise, artistic and lovely woman. Always admired Nicole as great person and am glad I got to know her through my sister's friendship with her, and later, a common artistic venture. Wish I could have kept up with her since, over the past 10 years, and very sorry to hear of the struggles with illness these past few. May she rest peacefully now, watch over you, and remain in your hearts.

Michelle, Leslie, Gloria, Danny and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Nicole's passing. She is now in peace, no more suffering. I think of the days helping Michelle babysit Leslie and Nicole. We had so much fun with the girls. When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. Mr. and Mrs. Banda, Michele, Leslie and families, I am so sorry to hear of Nicole's passing. We had some great times as kids...Trips to the book exchange for her favourite MAD comics and McDonalds for lunch, playing dress up in your basement, and bike rides through the neighbourhood. Even though we'd lost touch over the years, I thought of her often and the fun times we had. Geoff and I wish you peace and strength through this difficult time.
