I had the pleasure of teaching with your mom at Rosemont School. We had daily after-school chats. She was such a fantastic role model both as a teacher and as a supportive colleague. She absolutely loved her students and has touched the hearts of so many people. Her eyes lit up when she spoke of her family. Feel her love and may the wonderful memories help you carry on.

I worked with Judy when she was a sub in Glen Elm. She was a lady and loved working with the children and they in return loved her. I will miss her and only knew her a short time that is the impact she had on people. I send love to her family and may Judy rest in peace xxx

To the family of Judy,
Most of you won't know me but I grew up in Orkney, on a farm next to Judy and the rest of the Howlett family.
I didn't know Judy as an adult as we both went in different directions.
I have lost many close friends and family through the years but this time it feels like a part of my soul is grieving inconsolably. As much or more than at any other time and I don't know why.
I can only imagine, if she affected me this much in the few short years I knew her, how her loss must be affecting you who have known her a lifetime.
I'm sure the place she is in now just became a little brighter.
With Love and Peace,
Dale Gjertsen

I was so saddened to hear of her passing. Mrs. Campbell was my 3rd grade teacher. I've always remembered her as being so very loving, patient and kind hearted. She was such a wonderful person to be around and made me feel very welcome upon my arrival at a new school. She will be greatly missed by many. Condolences to the family

My deepest sympathy for your loss. My nephew was in her grade one class, and truly adored her. I had the pleasure of talking to your mom almost everyday when I picked him up. She always made time for us, even if it was just to say hi. Noah adored her, and when I was talking to him the other night, about his favorite teacher...we were trying to guess how many lives of students that she changed just by being their teacher. Thanks to your mom, he was reading at a grade three level at the end of grade one. Thanks for sharing her with Noah, and all the students that have benefited by having her as a part of their lives.

I know your hearts must be breaking as is mine. I had the privilege of working with Judy at Kitchener school many years ago. She was an amazing teacher and friend. She cared so much about every child who was in our school. She also was always sharing how proud she was of her own children as well and through her I feel I know you too. Judy was the kind of person that if you ran into her at a mall it was like you were still working together. Peace be with you!
