I kept thinking of my cousin, Kenny, and when I did not get my usual newsy Christmas card, I tried to find out. His phone was out of service so I googled and found that he had died in September. My brother and I and other cousins have such great memories of this man. He did not like to show his true feelings. I will miss our yearly notes. He is up there with the angels now. I love you Kenny. You were indeed a crazy kid. xoxo

I am sorry to hear about Ken. I have thought about him over the years. We use to have so much fun on Sundays at the Hayes house. We would make a big tub of popcorn, french fries and coconut pudding with fruit cocktail in it. and of course Pepsi to top it off. When I was about 16 I was going to buy a motorcycle from him but my Mom did not care for that idea. Since Auntie Emma died and my Mom and Dad and brother Jim have died, I never hear any family news.
My sympathy to the family.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I will always have great memories of Uncle Kenny's house and the time he spent at the farm. Some of my fondest childhood memories with Kenny included; taking the garbage to the Wilcox dump...he collected bottles as I rummaged for thrown away toys, sneaking skinny hand rolled cigarettes from his plastic smoke case, getting Xmas presents wrapped up in premium cracker boxes, eating hamburgers grilled in bacon fat, watching his vast collection of taped movies, playing hide and seek in his giant house, and his huge heart he tried to hide. Even though we drifted apart I will always remember him as a kind and loving human being.
