Obituary of Gertrude Evaline Neuman

Gertrude, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the age of 98 years. Predeceased by her husband Herbert R. Neuman; parents, August and Ottillia Altwasser; sister Emilie (Milly) Fichtemann and brother Ernest Altwasser. Gertrude is survived by daughter, Shirley (Doug) Burke of Barons, AB; son Darcy (Lyn) Neuman of Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Sylvia Reid of Leduc, AB; brother Waldemar Altwasser of Surrey, BC as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Gertrude’s Life will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friends so wishing may make donations in memoriam to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8.
