Obituary of Alphonse George Sterzer

ALPHONSE STERZER SEPTEMBER 12, 1933 – OCTOBER 12, 2016 Wednesday, October 12, 2016, Al (Alphonse) Sterzer late of Regina and formerly of Balgonie, SK. passed away at the age of 83 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Muriel (Roddy) Sterzer; his parents Jack and Frances Sterzer; in-laws Michael and Florentine Roddy-Klein; brothers-in-law Kenneth Roddy, Roy Appleby; sister-in-law Sherry Sterzer; second wife Marie (Roddy Allard) Sterzer. Al is survived by his children Bernadette Monteith, Crystal Sterzer (Rick Meroniuk), Danna Siever (Dean Gray), Yolanda (Andy) Klein, Al Sterzer (Shauna Leonard), Lisa (Clinton) Ermel, Tim (Rose) Sterzer and Nola Williams. He is also survived by his grandchildren Cameron (Sue), Regan (Trish), Miranda, Lauren, Haley, Nathan (Josee), Mandy (Trevor), Krista (Jerred), Tom (Tommi), Pat (Elishia), Devon (Michelle), Trevor (Chantal), Sheryl (Stephen), Patti, Amanda (Mike), Rebecca, Nickolas, Justin, Danielle, Meagan (Eion), Alyssa, Carina, Derrick and Karli. As well as his great grandchildren Ryan, Sarah, Reece, Paige, Kyrsten, Keenon, Ceana, Addyson, Kaiden, Daimen, Eliyah, Corbin, Riley, Zeke, Jaslyn, Brielle, Andon, Jola, Hannah, Hunter, Isabella, Nigel, Presley, Breighton, Ryland, Edri. Siblings Eleanor (Wes) White, Dianne (John) Berezowski, Glen Sterzer. Siblings-in-law Gladys Roddy, Marlene Appleby, Joan (Bob) Moore, Carla (Bryan) Hoeving. Additionally he is survived by Marie's children and their families; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Balgonie on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. E. Hengen officiating. The Family would like to thank the caring staff of William Booth Special Care Home where Dad lived the past 2.5 years. Flowers most gratefully declined.
