Obituary of William Kirkwood Spence

Bill, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. He was predeceased by his son Owen; parents William and Elizabeth and his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Church. He leaves to mourn his wife Betty; daughters Kimberly, Holly (Tom)(Sadly, Holly passed away March 25, 2017) and Shannon (Dean); son Graham; nine grandchildren, Victoria, Josie, Sara, Eric, Kadie, Chloe, Anne, William, and Elisabeth; two step-granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. Bill was employed at Sasktel, was loaned to the Mid Canada Radar line, and after two years returned to Estevan and then became a foremen in Weyburn. In 1973 he moved to Regina where he retired after thirty eight years with the company. He served on the Saskatchewan Sports Board, was President of Ski Saskatchewan in Regina and was a member of the Kinsmen in Estevan. He enjoyed curling, golfing and assisting all his children with their sporting events. The Celebration of Bill's Life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina Sk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
