Obituary of Anthony Katchan

Tony passed away peacefully on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the age of 84. Born December 14, 1931 in Choiceland, SK, to the late Paul and Annie Katchan, Tony was predeceased by his wife Marion and younger brothers, Leon and Bill. He is survived by his son Ronald Katchan (Andrea) and daughter Linda (Ward) Perozuk; six grandchildren, Joel, Tamara, Dakota, Michaela, Dawntana, and Kierra; and three great-grandchildren. Left also to mourn is Tony's surviving brother Steve; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tony was a kind and generous man who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He lived most of his life in Regina and enjoyed his cottage at Sask. Beach for many years. Tony was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending his summers at the lake with his family. Special thanks to the entire staff at Arbor Oaks Care Home for their wonderful care over the past year. At Tony’s request, a private family gathering will take place.
