William Fleming

Obituary of William Arthur Fleming

WILLIAM ARTHUR FLEMING February 10, 1933 – October 31, 2016 It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of Bill, cherished husband to Jan, father to Eric and Benjy, and grandfather to Alex (Kun-kun). Bill was born in Saskatoon in 1933 to Eric and Georgina Fleming. He was predeceased by his older brother Robert and survived by two sisters, Peg and Barbara. During his many years, he always showed a zest for life and was often able to perceive a positive side and humour in the world around him. Singing was a passion throughout his life, as was gardening. As a teacher-librarian, he spent many years working with young people in the Regina Public School system, especially Campbell Collegiate High School where he worked for more than 20 years. He was much loved for his sincerity and enthusiasm to help students learn and grow. A Celebration of Bill’s Life is to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina SK.
