Obituary of Peter John Ell

PETER JOHN ELL Peter passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the age of 93 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Ignatz and Eugenia; wife Julia; and all of his siblings except Robert (Beth) Ell. Left to cherish Peter’s memory are his two daughters, Vivian (Ron) Peters and Eileen (Lance) L’Oste-Brown; five grandchildren, Karla (Ted), Dan (Karen), Kristy (Chad), Mike (Jenna), and Aron (Alex); and seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Emma, Alex, Julia, Jesse, Zoe, and Grady. Dad was a proud Army Veteran, serving overseas during WWII. He was very likeable, with a happy outlook on life, even though his life had not always been easy. He loved to dance and always enjoyed his happy hour. Dad’s face would light up when he saw his family, especially his great-grandchildren. We are going to miss him, but we know he is finally reunited with mom. We want to thank Unit 3-5 Veteran’s Unit at Wascana. The love and care given to Dad was exceptional. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Sr. Mel Hruska officiating.
