Obituary of Clayton Lawrence Phillips

CLAYTON LAWRENCE PHILLIPS Clayton late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the age of 86 years. He was predeceased by parents Arthur and Edith and daughter Elaine. Clayton will be remembered with love by spouse Edna; son Mervin (Diane), son Larry (Laurel), son-in-law Curt and daughter Carolyn; grandchildren Tara (Scott), Leane (Jermaine), Nathan, Shari, Ryan (Jessica), Sean (Emily), Sara and Claire; great-grandchildren Penelope, Joshua, Annelise and Rooney; brother Mervin (Bernice), sisters-in-law Pat, Ruth, Hazel and Bev; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Clayton was a proud graduate of the University of Saskatchewan in 1951 with a Bachelor of Commerce. He became a Chartered Accountant then most recently a Chartered Professional Accountant. During his career, he worked in the federal public service for 35 years then later in private practice. He was an avid curler, golfer, model train enthusiast and gardener. Most of all, he enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Service will take place at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Private interment at a later time.
