Obituary of Shirley Madeline Doerth

1944 – 2016 Shirley, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. She was predeceased by her parents Mike and Katherine Gelsinger; sister Joan Shuter; brother-in-law Joe Hoffart and mother and father-in-law Herta and Ernst Doerth. Shirley is survived by her husband Hans; sons Jamie (Nathalie) and Randall (Carla); grandson Tyler James; sister Marg Hoffart; brother Gary (Debbie) Gelsinger; nieces Sherry Kay (Kelly) Senger, Kathy Desjarlais, Amanda Shuter and Kailla Gelsinger; nephews Kelly (Michelle) Hoffart, Michael (Diana) Shuter, Cory Desjarlais, Daniel Gelsinger, Michael Gelsinger and Kristopher Gelsinger; brother-in-law Dale Shuter as well as other relatives and friends. Shirley was very community minded and served in the Regina Beach area as a Lioness for seventeen years. She loved many activities including golfing, sewing and fishing. She was also a wonderful baker and will be fondly remembered for making the best pies ever. Shirley was loved by her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jerome R.C. Church, Regina Beach, SK, on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Gaspar Lucas celebrant.
