Obituary of Rose Zielinski

ROSE ZIELINSKI On Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home at the age of 99 years, Rose’s earthly journey ended with her long awaited entrance to heaven. Rose was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1997; daughter Connie in 1940; and all of her siblings. Left to cherish and honour her memory are her children, Ruth (Alvin) and Alvin (Kathy); three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary; as well as nieces and nephews. Mother’s love for the Lord was evident in her everyday life. She encouraged many people by her strong faith in God. Rose’s warm hospitality and generosity was enjoyed by many. She led a full, fruitful, and productive life on the family farm near Mikado, SK. Rose was a caring and compassionate person. She treasured her children, sacrificing her own needs to ensure her loved ones were looked after. Mother was the foundation of our family. Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home Chapel, 4215 Regina Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service will be held at Yorkton Memorial Gardens on the same day at 3:00 p.m. To honour Rose’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
