Obituary of Marjorie Jean Wolfe

On Saturday, December 3, 2016, Marjorie (Marge) Jean Wolfe passed away peacefully at the Lumsden and District Heritage Home. Marge was predeceased by her parents, Rose and Joseph Wolfe; sisters, Freda, Del, Arletta and Alma; brothers, Dick, Ron, Bob, Cliff, and Harold; nephews, Van Wolfe and Barry Stroh and nieces, Donna Tannahill and Sherry Klein. Marge is survived by her brother Doug (Carole) Wolfe; sisters-in-law, Kay and May Wolfe; nieces and nephews, Jack (Cheryl) Stroh, Bobbie (Rick) Ulmer, Larry (Jackie) Wolfe, Lyle (Paula) Wolfe, Lana Ruecker, Debbie (Don) Christopherson, Brenda (John) Szala, Rhonda (Dino) Rasmussen and numerous great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. Early in her working career, Marge started in the secretarial pool at the Legislative Building working her way to the position of Executive Secretary for the Minister of Labour. Marge became an avid traveller and was the family photographer. In her retirement, she developed a passion for scrapbooking and creating a historical record of her family. She enjoyed daily walks, meeting with friends for coffee, cards, and Mahjong. Marge also developed a great interest in genealogy. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews taking them on outings to various destinations around Regina and area. Marge requested that there be no funeral service. A special thank you to the Staff of Lumsden and District Heritage Home for their care and compassion during Marge's stay with them. A family celebration of Marge's life and her interment at Riverside Memorial Park will take place at a later date through Speers Funeral Chapel. Flowers are gratefully declined but friends and family so wishing may make donations in memoriam to the Parkinson's Society, 610 Duchess Street, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 0R1.
