Our deepest sympathy to Ted, Kevin (Debra) and family, Neil (Deborah). Doreen fought a brave battle for many years for which we admired her. Doreen and I were friends from Grade 9 onward and throughout all the years between and kept in touch up to the time of her passing. We will miss her sense of humour and miss for me being able to call her. Our memories are of many good times together and having a treasured friend. Our condolences, Helene and Clayton

During my time as one of the miniters at Wesley United Church I often had the opportunity to speak with Doreen when she came for her meetings. I always enjoyed talking with her and hearing news of her church and her family. I was sorry when her group stopped meeting and our paths didn't cross as often. I'm saddened to hear of her death, but know her strong faith made it easier for her. My deep sympathy to her family and friends as they celebrate her life.
