Obituary of Joseph Andrew Anton

JOSEPH ANDREW ANTON, FCPA, FCA It is with great sadness that Joe’s family announces his sudden passing on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the age of 71. Left to mourn his passing, is his wife of 41 years, Julie and his daughters Jennifer (Jasen) Lindenbach and Jolene Anton. Joe is also survived by his sister Elizabeth (John) Perko, his in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Andrew, in 1981 and his mother Elizabeth, in 1996. Joe was a loving family man, with a remarkable sense of humour. His greatest joy was his two daughters and he never stopped looking after them. In his business and professional life, he had many treasured friends, with whom he kept in touch. Joe had an entrepreneurial spirit and was always eager to take on a new challenge. One of his favourite pastimes was spending time out at the cottage. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and was always planning his next adventure. To respect Joe’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
