Obituary of Peter Hutyra

Peter Hutyra, late of Regina, passed away at the age of 97 years, on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Regina General Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Pearl (2008); four brothers and a sister. Peter is survived by his daughter Irene; son Andrew (Barb) and their children Nicole (Jay Walker) and David (great-granddaughter Isabella); his niece Irena and family in Regina, as well as family in Oshawa, ON and Poland. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be held at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto Street, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Vladimir Simunovic presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the ER and the Respiratory Care Unit (6F) staff at the Regina General Hospital for their care and understanding during his time there.
